Civilization Rights Institute @ the Cairo International Book Fair
On 24 January 2026, the Cairo International Book Fair hosted a remarkable seminar titled:
“Civilization Rights… Added Values: Chance – Challenge – Change.”
Invited by the Fair’s organizers, the Civilization Rights Institute (CRI – USA) presented its vision for embedding civilizational values into contemporary knowledge systems. The session, moderated by Ahmed Rashed, highlighted CRI’s growing role in shaping new frameworks for cultural justice, intellectual property, and civilizational resilience.
The seminar brought together leading national figures:
• Dr. Mai Hassan (EGIPA) shared perspectives on the future of IP governance.
• Prof. Hossam Lotfy offered authoritative commentary linking intellectual property to the broader philosophy of Civilization Rights.
• Prof. Hesham Azmy, President of EGIPA, honored the session with his participation, adding strategic insights that elevated the dialogue.
The presence of CRI partners, scholars, and supporters added depth and momentum to the discussion.
Gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, the Cairo International Book Fair Authority, and architect Hamdy El-Sotohy for their valued support.
