Civilizology is the emerging field of inquiry that adopts scientific approaches to trace the roots of civilization rights and the processes (inputs) that generate civilization outcomes and artifacts (outputs). It calls upon specialists from diverse fields to study and document the contributions of various human civilizations.

The Application: Civilization Resilience
Civilization resilience applies the concepts of civilizology to increase the capacity of civilizations to learn, adapt, and grow through acute shocks (like pandemics) and chronic stresses (like climate change). It provides a means to connect lessons from the past to develop insights that preserve rights, promote equity, encourage dialogue, and lessen misunderstanding among different civilizations.
The Civilization Rights Alliance
As called for in the Declaration, the CRI supports the formation of the Civilization Rights Alliance. This is a global coalition of academic institutions, NGOs, foundations, and corporations committed to promoting and adopting the principles of Civilization Rights. The Alliance works to increase awareness, share best practices, and unite efforts to assert these fundamental rights worldwide.
