Academic & Research Programs
Establishing the Science of Civilizology for a New Generation of Leaders.
The Vision: Civilizology University
Our ultimate goal is the establishment of Civilizology University—a global, multi-campus institution dedicated to this new field of inquiry. In the interim, we are building a “distributed campus” through a global network of partner universities, laying the academic groundwork for the future of civilization studies.
A New Field of Inquiry
Civilizology is the emerging science that traces the roots of civilization rights and the processes (inputs) that generate civilization outcomes and artifacts (outputs). It is an inherently interdisciplinary field, calling upon specialists in history, archaeology, law, technology, and the arts to document the contributions of all human civilizations and create a more equitable understanding of our shared global heritage.
Curriculum Development
Partnering with universities to integrate Civilizology courses and modules into existing departments.
Research Grants & Fellowships
Funding the next wave of scholarship in the field through the CRI Scholars Program.
Global Academic Network
Building a coalition of partner institutions to share research, co-host events, and advance the discipline.
Integrating Civilizology into the Classroom
We collaborate with universities to develop and integrate Civilizology-focused materials into a wide range of departments, including History, Anthropology, Law, International Relations, and STEM. This includes providing case studies, guest lectures from our expert network, and standardized modules on the Universal Declaration of Civilization Rights.
Funding Foundational Research
The CRI Scholars Program will provide grants and post-doctoral fellowships for pioneering research in Civilizology. Key focus areas include tracing the cross-cultural diffusion of scientific knowledge, quantifying the economic impact of cultural appropriation, and developing new models for civilization resilience in the face of climate change.
A Coalition for Knowledge
We are actively building a global network of partner universities and research institutions. This alliance will serve as the foundation for Civilizology University, facilitating international research projects, student exchange programs, and the sharing of academic resources to accelerate the growth of the field.
A Platform for Scholarly Discourse
The Institute plans to launch the *Journal of Civilizology*, a peer-reviewed, open-access digital publication. The journal will provide a dedicated forum for the dissemination of cutting-edge research in the field, fostering rigorous academic debate and establishing the intellectual foundations of the discipline.
Inspiring the Next Generation
We are committed to engaging students directly through initiatives like the Great Pyramid Challenge, which invites student participation. We will also offer internship opportunities and provide university students with access to the Civi World platform for research purposes, giving them hands-on experience in this emerging field.
