CRI Participates in C20 Working Group on Sustainable & Resilient Communities
In a significant development from January 2023, the Climate Resilience Initiative (CRI) has officially joined the Civil 20’s (C20) Working Group on Sustainable & Resilient Communities (SRC). CRI participated in the inception meeting, focusing on Climate, Environment, and Net Zero Targets.
This working group is one of the 14 established under Civil 20 India 2023. The C20 serves as a crucial platform for Civil Society Organizations globally to voice their perspectives to the Group of Twenty (G20).
About the G20 and C20
The C20 is one of the official engagement groups of the G20, the premier forum for international economic cooperation. The G20 comprises the European Union and 19 countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
