. We are a nonprofit scientific and research institution dedicated to promoting and safeguarding the heritage, cultural rights, and Civilization Rights of every individual and nation.
The concept of Civilization Rights encompasses a set of foundational principles outlined in the Universal Declaration of Civilization Rights. This declaration emphasizes the inherent rights of all countries, nations, and communities to protect their civilizations, both ancient and modern. These rights include cultural heritage, archaeological monuments, and material rights related to various fields such as astronomy, technology, arts, and architecture.
The Universal Declaration of Civilization Rights affirms people's entitlement to respect for the cultural heritage that forms an integral part of their identity, history, and civilization. It recognizes the collective cultural dignity of people and condemns any violation of cultural rights.
CRI is headquartered in the United States, much like other global organizations such as the United Nations and National Geographic. This strategic location provides the ideal conditions for advancing CRI's mission to protect the rights of civilizations, both ancient and modern. By operating from the U.S., CRI can function on an international scale while maintaining the flexibility and independence needed to advocate for the preservation of civilizations, past, present, and future.
The United States' strong legal framework enables CRI to advocate for civilizations worldwide freely. The country's global influence provides access to international institutions, funding opportunities, and a broad audience, enhancing CRI's ability to raise awareness and foster cooperation. Additionally, U.S. nonprofit regulations allow CRI to operate efficiently and effectively in pursuing its international objectives.
CRI supports the formation of a Civilization Rights Alliance to promote awareness of these rights and encourage their adoption. Our goals center on research, education, community welfare, and the rights of all civilizations—past, present, and future. We do not support, participate in, or intervene in any political campaigns, nor do we discriminate based on political orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, gender identity, or ideology.
Our field of inquiry, Civilizology, brings together specialists and scientists from various disciplines to study and document the contributions of human civilizations. It employs scientific approaches to trace the roots of civilization rights and the processes that generate civilization outcomes and artifacts.
We believe that civilization resilience is crucial for ensuring the continuity of civilizations. This resilience is the capacity of civilizations to withstand acute and chronic shocks while enhancing their ability to learn, adapt, and grow. Our mission is to sustain human civilizations in their original environments by respecting, protecting, and fulfilling their rights following the Universal Declaration of Civilization Rights.
At CRI, we are committed to our vision of sustaining human civilizations by respecting, protecting, and fulfilling their rights. We strive to unite efforts at national and international levels to raise awareness of civilization rights, foster cooperation and dialogue, and reduce tension and misunderstanding among different civilizations.
Human civilizations are sustained in their original environments by respecting, protecting, and fulfilling their rights following the Universal Declaration of Civilization Rights.
The Civilization Rights Institute is a nonprofit scientific and research institution that aims to apply the provisions and principles of the Universal Declaration of Civilization Rights through research and education, advocacy, consultations, project implementations, innovations, partnerships, and alliances for the sustainability and resilience of communities of human civilizations in their original environments.
We observe Civilization Rights Day annually on June 10 to commemorate the issuance of the civilization rights declaration, a milestone document in proclaiming civilization rights worldwide. We also promote initiatives, developmental projects, and collaborations that assess the needs of civilization heritage sites, implement conservation interventions, and accelerate progress toward sustainable development goals at these sites.
